To exclude PDF files from being optimized in Imagify, both on upload and during Bulk Optimization, you can use our helper plugin or custom filter hooks.<\/p>\n

Using the Imagify Skipper Helper Plugin<\/h2>\n

The easiest way to prevent PDFs from optimizing is by using the Imagify Skipper<\/strong> helper plugin. This plugin provides a settings page in your WordPress dashboard, allowing you to configure exclusions without editing code.<\/p>\n

  1. Download and install the Imagify Skipper helper plugin<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin on your WordPress site.<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to the plugin settings page and select PDF<\/strong> (or any other format) to exclude it from auto-upload optimization, Bulk Optimization, or both.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Restoring Previously Optimized PDFs<\/h2>\n

    If PDF files were already optimized prior to setting up exclusions and need to be reverted to their original state:<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Media > Library<\/strong> in your WordPress dashboard.<\/li>\n
    2. Filter or search for .pdf<\/code> files.<\/li>\n
