How to Stop Bulk Optimization Process

Starting from v2.1 we introduced async bulk optimization, so there is currently no way to stop it as it will run in the background.

Versions prior to v2.1

The bulk optimization process can be stopped by simply closing the browser window or tab. Once you’ve done that, the images that are currently being optimized will be completed, and then optimization will be stopped.

When you resume optimization with the Bulk Optimizer, the images that have already been optimized will not be re-optimized as long as you have not changed the compression level in your Imagify plugin settings page.
