Image Color is Affected

InformationEXIF Data contains information about your images, and this includes the color profile. Starting with v2.0 of Imagify, there is no EXIF data option anymore as we keep it by default. So we do not strip EXIF data anymore.

If EXIF data is removed from your images, you may notice that they are not as colorful as before optimization. If this is an issue for you, you can use the following instructions to prevent optimization from removing your EXIF data.

When using Imagify WordPress Plugin (versions lower than v2.0)

  1. Go to your website Settings > Imagify page.
  2. Enable “Keep all EXIF data from your images” option.
  3. Restore the image(s) to original.
  4. Re-optimize the image(s).
